Hiking and backpacking are a way of life in central Idaho. The surrounding mountain ranges provide a limitless opportunity for recreationalists to witness unmatched natural beauty. Wildflowers, indigenous bird and animal life, alpine tarns and endless trails exist throughout our permit area and we look forward to sharing many secret spots with you. Sun Valley Outfitters offers 1/2 day and 3/4 day hikes with drinks and lunches provided, if desired. We also enjoy hosting groups for single and multi-night overnight backpack adventures. Waking to an alpine sunrise or toasting the sunset at nine or ten thousand vertical feet will certainly be a memory you carry with you forever.
